    What's happened to Islam?

It seems as though this thread has gone way off topic. The answers to this thread occurred on the first page. There are a variety of subjects mentioned in this thread which would be better topics individually since by mentioning them all here, there is too much and constructive discussion...

    Muhammed in the Bible/Bahai Faith

Re: Deuteronomy 18:18-19 Yeah, it seems that Peter is paraphrasing the Deuteronomy passage. I totally agree with him though. :D Yeah, Paran is an interesting subject. I think I may post on some of the criteria for prophets as espoused in the Bible. That may help our discussion.

    Muhammed in the Bible/Bahai Faith

Muhammad and the Bahai Faith Abdul-Baha very eloquently speaks about the misperceptions attributed to Muhammad. 7: MUHAMMAD Now we come to Muhammad. Americans and Europeans have heard a number of stories about the Prophet which they have thought to be true, although the narrators were...

    Muhammed in the Bible/Bahai Faith

Some discussion was asked for by someone else, so I gathered up a few things. Please feel free to discuss and add stuff I'm missing. :D The Prophet Muhammad from Arabia circa has been one of the most misunderstood figures in the West. For centuries his name has endured insults, propaganda...

    The resurrection of Jesus Christ

Mark 16 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The article goes in a few directions, but it's fairly good in my opinion. There are a lot of complications that involve a physical resurrection. There's a bounty of evidence to support the idea that it was a spiritual one. I don't have a lot of...

    The resurrection of Jesus Christ

In my opinion, there's no reason that that can't refer to the spiritual body. I believe it refer's to the faith of christ and how it didn't die. Also, there's what the Bible says, the literal words on the page that have been orally kept until they were written down and then translated, and...

    Matthew 26: 28

Matthew 26:28 English Standard Version (ESV) This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Exodus 24:8 English Standard Version (ESV) And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant that the LORD...

    Quote from Bahaullah

I think you make a very interesting point smkolins. Thank you very much. I have read what you said and I agree that if a system tended to put innocent people to death or which favored certain people to death over others that that would not be good. I suppose that I think of this quote...

    Quote from Bahaullah

Hmm. The way I look at it, it seems to me that Baha'u'llah is saying that we can't not punish people just because in rare cases innocent people get punished. To me, it doesn't matter whether the innocent person endures life imprisonment or the death penalty because in both cases they're...
