The Bible is still a mystery to me, a lot of people have a lot of different things to say about and a lot of people listen to them without really understanding for themselves. and a lot of people are very negative and critical of the Bible and Christianity in general, Read, Think, Pray, Live.

dont know much about orthodox Church but I dont think they are to hot on female clergy :eek: since the Anglican Church has been mentioned, now that something I am warming to. there is even a british orthodox church The British Orthodox Church not been to one though, maybe one day.

So has anyone here actually been Baptized as an adult or it just me ?

no offense but most children of 3 or 4 can barely wipe their own backsides let alone make an informed decision about a religious ritual ?

IMO Christening is not the same thing as Baptism as the infant has no choice in the matter, I am not saying that it is not a nice thing to do for some parents. I am talking Baptism as a choice that you make as an adult.

Have you been baptized ? I dont mean christening or infant baptism, actual baptism as an adult. And do you think fully immersion is the way or just a lite sprinkling or does it not matter ?
