Did Lazerus' soul rise when he died?

I believe the resurrection of Lazerus is truly a sign of the Father's intention to restore a perfect New Earth to His original purpose. Many Christian faiths have had this revealed to them thru the Scriptures and I respect them all, but agree Man always fails to rule on their own and am weary of...

Did Lazerus' soul rise when he died?

Be cautious of organized religion that tries to tear family members apart and teach shuning (hatred) if you decide not to be in their Cult. A relationship with God is between the individual and the Father and no Man should add to the Scriptures to incorporate Man's changing rules thier Leaders...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

Makes me think of John 5:19 "Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to you, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner". I completely agree that a perfect...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

I agree with you here that Christ is not just a man. He is the Son of God. The Son cannot also be the Father unless we were to say that it is a mystery. It doesn't say in the Bible that God is a mystery as if he were a mystery we wouldn't be able to come to know a mystery accurately.

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

Jesus is like his Father since they have been together so long like we could be like our own Father, but he not the Almighty God Yahweh like some said before. It's really easy and important to know the true God to worship Him properly, the Father and the Son, seperate and distinct. Off to...

    Religion Survey (for me)

I think of who the founder of Christianity was, Jesus Christ, and if anything about him was warlike? However, I also think about how man says they are dying in war in the name of God in a Christianity sense and perhaps they are following false teachings. Would Jesus die in a war for a...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

It is there, you have to do the math. Revelation 12:6, 14 indicates that three and a half times equaly a thousand two hundred and sixty days "seven times" would therefore last twice as long or 2,520 days. Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 speak of a day as a year. Therefore if you start at 607...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

OK, I did a little research, here you go... VERIFYING THE DATE 1914 16 Since autumn of 1914 was due to mark the end of the Gentile Times, what, according to God’s will, was then due to take place? This, namely, the stoppage of the trampling of the Gentile nations on what was symbolized by the...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

Hey Josh: OK, the Witnesses won't give some street person five bucks to go get smashed on some bad habit they can help with. But wouldn't you admit that you see them before 6:00 am in a laundry mat or bus stop trying to help someone spiritually. I don't agree with the statement that...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

I see the Witnesses out helping people spiritually on their own time and making a significant contribution of work all voluntarily. I know many who went to New Orleans (several times) to help out on building projects. What is God's will? What do we pray for to come in the the Lord's prayer...

    Which religion do you follow?

These poll results are pretty cool here so far. 23% Christian 21% not listed, and 16% not sure. This tells me that Brian is really running a true comparative site here that is not slanted one way or another.

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

Josh seriously, I don't think you know the Witnesses and I don't see them represented "fully" on forums or is forums important to them. I've seen a multitude of Catholics on the forums and other than Mee, and maybe one other, the Witnesses don't hang on forums. It's the truth man...they ain't...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

This is the reason that I learned as a Bible Student, almost ready to make a dedication, that Jehovah's organization encourages it's members to steer clear of Internet Forums (obviously something I haven't been good of in the past as I enjoy reading everyones views). So, other then a few of...

    identifying...Babylon the great

Re: Babylon the great Thanks Josh, I see what you mean how is makes US look like Liberals. For the most part I wanted to hear from others if they thought Bablylon the Great was religious, nation or business. Also, if it was on a large scale to encompass many religions or if most folks thought...

    identifying...Babylon the great

Re: Babylon the great Let me see if I understand this. The leberals are Babylon the Great. I never thought about it like this. Rush Limbaugh would love this. I see this empire or city as three potential scenarios 1) Political 2) Business and 3) Religious. A Political empire (i.e. Liberal)...

the Bible from a Jehovah's Witness perspective

Dor, Doesn't it feel much nicer, the words "I Love You". I don't think your too rough, I'm a pretty sturdy guy, so don't worry. The problems do lie with Doctrines and mans inturpretations. We only need to read the Word of God to see the messages being slowly revealed to us. No Doctine is...
