Time-out

Hi Brian, just paying a quick visit after a prolonged absence. I notice the irritating time-out is still there, but now instead of prompting you to re-enter your username and password, it now insists you refresh the page, so unless you remember to copy it to the clipboard first you lose your post.

Is this time-out really necessary? I hardly ever have time to finish writing before it cuts out.

That's my gripe over. Thanks for keeping the site going.

Hi,
The way around that is simple:
Just go here: (it is at the bottom of the home page)
http://www.interfaith.org/forum/online.php
and leave that tab open while you search around and post or whatever in other tabs,
it keeps refreshing itself so you don't get clocked out.

what browser are you using ?

I never get that with Chrome or Firefox ?

I use firefox and I get clocked out so I started doing the above.

There have also been a few problems with the server getting overloaded during the weekend we just had, namely from my moving some more sites in (and then getting a high usage site back to another server).

Hopefully fewer issues now.
