That's a fascinating thread but I'm not sure I'm well versed enough to comment meaningfully on Vajrayana Dream Yoga. However I was just thinking about Dream Yoga today on the way home from work. I had my first actually lucid dream last night and my first instinct wasn't to sit and meditate it was to influence things around me consciously. Anyway it occurred to me today that even before getting to a state where meditation becomes the main sleep activity for me I am going to have to over come the temptation of controlling a universe of my own creation. So in a way it's harder to get to a meditative state in a dream than it is in waking life but the challenge makes it worth trying.
