I thought I'd start a thread after watching the news this morning....

It seems that there was some "genius" who after boarding his flight from Oslo (Sweden) to Turkey, decided that it was a bad idea and wanted to go back to Oslo. He was thankfully, overpowered by passengers etc and subsequently charged by police when they landed.

Now, I mightn't be the sharpest tool in the shed, but if "Doofus" hadnt boarded the flight in the first place, then he would have been exactly where he wanted to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I am nominating him for an extra charge of "Stupidity", to add onto the other charges the police lay on him.

Please feel free, to nominate your own......

Gallagher did a routine on this decades ago. He wanted to hand out flags for stupidity. Like the people who go up and push the lit elevator button while everyone is waiting. As if all those people hadn't pushed it and were waiting, as if the more you push it the faster it will come. Just hand him a stupid flag.

Or when someone does somethning stupid on the highway make it like a dart gun, so youi can just shoot their car door and a stupid flag sticks there with a suction cup. When you have 4 flags the police simply pull over and get a ticket.

Although he also indicated he deserved one. He had this rope on stage that he'd swing on every now and then in his show. And in another bit he was rollerblading while telling jokes. Well he had smoked some dope, and did some coke before a performance and while he was rollerskating onstage he suddenly noticed his rope...and the marijuana said, 'I got an idea....skate real fast and grab it'....and the cocaine said 'yeah, do it!!'

Stupid.

I just saw the headline, didn't know Mr. uberdoofus was the hijacker !! WoW...

In pre-history, this dumbo would've been eaten by a pack dingos on account of natural selection !! and now he's flyin in the sky, hijackin planes!!?? ... makes u wonder

Reminds me of the incident last Halloween at SFO (San Francisco International Airport) where an older man tried to bring his pocket knife on board his flight. He argued with the TSA agents that he should be allowed to bring the knife on his person on board his flight because "it has sentimental value".

Then he tried to tell them that I shouldn't be allowed to bring my lancets on board since they're also considered "sharps".

Did I mention that both the man and his wife missed their flight? Unfortunately, so did several other people, including an older Sikh gentleman who was going back to India to be with his daughter (or was it granddaughter) for the birth of her first child. He was beside himself with anger (luckily, he was able to go home on the next flight on standby.)
