Low blood pressure

Anyone else have this?

Low blood pressure. The alternative medicine is to drink a lot, and to add an extra grain of salt. Not much though, because of the sodium. Eat a banana or half of a big one a day to balance the excess of sodium with potassium.

Oh dear just had another one - a vasovagal fainting episode.
I had an appointment at the hospital eye clinic, which I wasn't looking forward to. I think it was the third time the man said 'this will touch your eye but you won't feel anything...'
Cue NDE...
Drastic drop in BP, everything 'goes white', can't speak, put on bed, oxygen mask, ambulance called (in a hospital??!!)...
The eye tests weren't completed so I've got to go back in 2 months. So far I've just learnt that as well as ocular hypertension I've got thick corneas. Damn that dukkha.

Snoopy, I hope the doctors find the problem soon! The unevenness of blood pressure within your body has me worried. Keep taking your antioxidants, as they are good for circulation and strengthening the blood vessels.

It sounds like you have embraced a new level of meditation that even Lunitik had not achieved.

Diet and the use of energy has a strong effect on these things.

I wish you the best.

Thank you, COT. :)

As an aside, at the electronic hospital check-in it provides about 20 options for choice of religion (including atheist) but no mention of Buddhist. Strange omission I thought...

I have low blood pressure too; I used to actually faint in the mornings when jumping out of bed too fast. I'd wake up 5 minutes after waking up, back on my bed...lol

Mine has gotten better (thank you, salt!), but I still have circulation problems (legs falling asleep, bruising). I take vitamin K and iron regularly (good for blood thickness) to help with that, and also do yoga along with regular cardio exercise to help improve my circulation in general. Don't know if circulation is an issue for you, but if it is, maybe that stuff could be useful! :)

Don't forget to add an aspirin a day. That will keep the Doctors away. Small dose though.
