The Afterlife Investigations 3 - Dr. David Fontana | My Curious Brain

Though this fellow died last Fall, only now heard of his death. I'd long been a fan of his-a respected psychologist, academic, and prolific author specializing in transpersonal psychology, spirituality, and psychic phenomena. He had a particular interest in exploring the possibilites for survival of consciousness after death. Just discovered this fairly recent 15 minute interview with him in which he discusses the latter. earl

I watched it, so thanks for putting it up. I'll give him five for trying to make something scientific out of psychic things, and that's making a college try.

Yeah, while folks like him have studied psychic stuff scientifically, ultimate conclusions all can comfortably agree on I think will always remain elusive. Those last conclusions he speaks of about the afterlife he elaborated upon in his last published book on the same theme which came out in 2009-I haven't read it as yet. But, the book seems to draw its conclusions from a combination of psychic research of the past century combined with views drawn from such millenia-old traditions as Buddhism. earl

It seems he spent a lifetime in pursuit of something and then in the last Fall he either found it... or lost it.

True dat.:p Though, if he's taking after some of his fellow psychic researchers who'd passed on he'd written about in his book, "Is There an Afterlife?" he'll be attempting to communicate from the Great Beyond.:D earl
