Shades of Reason
O.k. so maybe this is spam, but this is the forum to discuss books, no? I've been working on a short book about losing my religion and how I let go of the unnecessary baggage in favor of simple submission to love and life.
It's amazing how much weight I allowed religion to place on me. It wasn't until I completely let it go, except for a few key elements, that I found my peace.
At 87 pages, it makes for a very short read, but the content is meaty, hopeful, and challenges the reader to be honest with themselves when it comes to worship.
If anyone is at all interested in where I am on my journey, PM me with your email and I'll send the PDF to you for free (Limited to 20/First come first serve)
It's not for the overly religious, but if you believe in the power of love and if you believe we are responsible for the world we live in, then you may find it interesting. It will be available at Amazon in about 6 weeks and is currently available here.
I wrote it under the pen name "Jagged Zen Monkey".
