Fine mid-Eastern flair to some of the pieces, especially Ouroboros and Call of Hekate. Concerning that last one, parts of it were so appealing that, despite her reputation as a femme fatale, I almost took the call, on my mobile, until I heard that gravelly, demonic sound which freaked me out (I scare easily).
I am a big, BIG Dead Can Dance (Lisa Gerrard) fan and am still bemoaning the untimely loss of Ofra Haza. Have you ever heard G.O.L’s. Angelica In Delirium? It’s not as dark as your material, but is still an unusual musical trip into the Solomon and Sheba archetype. A female reader of classics reads portions of the Song of Solomon while what sounds to me like a Muezzin, and an appropriately forlorn one at that, makes his lamentable call in the background. I inadvertently started it with parts of your On the Glowing Wings of Science and had to call in late to work because the at times discordant but still hypnotic music caused me to have intense acid flashbacks and I decided to stay home, for once, and enjoy them.
