Ultimate truth = God

What I point to is the only place where anything inter-faith can happen, for it is the only thing all have in common: all point at the way home.

Now dialog can happen, we can see that all paths have brought us to the same place, we can better understand each other from this place because all have experienced the same thing: pure love. No more does mind come in and complain, you send it off to find this and that to confirm what all is saying instead.

How can there be peace in the world when no one has found peace within themselves? Be the change you want to see, the only place of peace is that of oneness, for in oneness how can there be conflict?
There is self conflict through lonliness. Lonliness leads to all kinds of conflict. You can only find true peace and happiness with your other.

In oneness, longing for the other has been dropped, this is probably going to be the hardest part for you. Oneness happens when you find pleasure in being alone, it is no more loneliness because there is no more even a consideration about other - Jesus says to love your neighbor as yourself, it is because they are another expression of you. He has to say it in a dual way because otherwise it will not make sense...

The other does not exist, it is just like the thoughts going through your own head. Every decision you have ever arrived at, you have considered two or more alternative routes - the mind is not consistent, it has formed a panel to decide what to do, yet you define who you are by these conflicting views.

In oneness, none of this occurs, for there is no thought. There is only being, blissful happiness at the miracle of simply existing. Nothing else is needed, this is what is meant by "God sufficeth", nothing else but this is your longing. Buddha speaks of two kinds of people who fulfilling this longing: arhat and bodhisatva. Arhat is the male approach, he will probably retreat to the woods after enlightenment and be utterly alone until he dies. Bodhisatva is the female approach which is taught by Jesus and Krishna among others, this one will not retreat, he will return to the world and try to help others, he longs for all to enjoy this aloneness with him - a paradox, yet communal meditation is much more intense and powerful, more than this, he sees that nothing else compares.

The Bodhisatva has found the jewel of life and wants to share it, the arhat has found the jewel and has become lost in it. That jewel is oneness, but it is like the Bodhisatva sees his hand or foot is not as blissful as it can be, he wants all of his body to partake in that bliss. The arhat doesn't have a hand or foot, he is the bliss and nothing else. Both reside in oneness, though.

This is what is meant by realizing you are part of the body of Christ. I am as a Bodhisatva, I will not allow that this bliss be localized, I want it to be universal. This is looking more and more like a lost cause though, this forum is turning me into an arhat, for what is the point? If the foot wants to remain asleep, still the leg keeps me balanced, what does it matter?

The more I find my complete oneness as an individual the more I am aware of my opposite and the more lonely I become. The more I long for it. You really should get a handle on the complete truth cause your living a half truth. I am sorry if I am offending you but I speak the truth.

If you say 'more' then you have not found oneness, you just think you are getting closer. Always the realization is in an instance, even if there is some sense of getting closer it is not the case. Truth is absolutely staggering, the transformation is 180, one moment you are looking forward, the next you find God was following you.

That longing is normal in the Dark Night of the Soul, but it is not for another human. You can go into a relationship and see my point that it will not fulfill you, I am sure it is your experience already hence saying 'my one true opposite', for none you have encountered yet have fulfilled your desire.

I am telling you only God can, only God is your true opposite, God is what you are truly longing for, nothing else.

God is within, not without.

Thats the whole point. The more you find true oneness the more you realize you have an opposite that makes you one. Thats the whole point. And god has an opposite of his own. When you have a child that child comes from you but is a separate person and thats how it is with being children of god.

You are God's opposite, and he yours.

Why remain separate?

Your longing shows you do not like this, you do not wish to remain lonely. How many married couples remain lonely still though? Marriage happens because they realize one day that this is not fulfilling, few stay together out of obligation. Love for the other cannot last very long...

The only love which is fulfilling is that which is found in oneness, that which is found when you encounter God. Now it is impossible to long for anything, you are complete.

My children come from me to become totally one with them would not make sense. They are their own people. Being one with GOD would mean to be what you are as coming from him, the good aspects , a being that is love. It doesnt mean you merge with him totally. Being one in GOD not one with GOD is the answer.
