"Honor" killings vs. Islam

I personally think that those murders are killings of pride. People kill a wife, daughter, fiancee--because their pride is hurt. And pride in Islam is considered satan's characteristic.

In the West, there are also honor killings committed. The Westerners call those "crimes of passion." For example, in the U.S. three women are killed each day by their spouse/partner (either current or former). Visit www.nnedv.org (National Network to End Domestic Violence).

My point, Islam does not approve or teach "honor" murders. Those murders have no religion.
 
Sorry friends the very basic of Eslam start from "Honor Killing". Look at "Esh Ninda" rule in pakistan. Khuda has been given honor of supreem and if anybody rejects he/she should be killed.

Does god needs any honor from we people?? Is god so helpless??Can you realy give honor to God??

Any God,bhagvan,khuda,buddha who can be honoured or dishonored is definately not God. Any God who is so helpless, should be removed from socity.
 
Qur'an does not support "honor" murders. And not all Muslims practice "honor" murders. Perhaps you can talk to some Arabs and they will tell you it is ok, but majority of the Muslim world (of which Arabs make up 15%, and not all Arabs are supporting 'honor' murders) does not practice this.

ALLAH SWT forbids murder.
 
brijesh, to even consider you comment as anywhere near valid you really must come up with a directive from the Qu'ran or Hadith. You will not find it.

The references you give are made-up rules which track the Hindu (remember, Pakis and Indians are really just one genetic group) practices (that modern Hindus reject).
