He had to be a Jew. He was taken to the Temple as a kid, He was circumcised, He preached in the Synagogue ...

I have never straddled the issue about Jesus' identity between Greek and Roman. Jesus was a Jewish man. What makes of him a Greek is the Christian idea of how he was born. That's all.
