An Entry ~ On Effort & Honesty

Ideally ... [as] the Divine Couple themselves ... as while He is with his Beloved, it is clear, abundantly & apparently obvious, that Harmony prevails, as well as Peace, accord w/in 3 lower worlds (the world of men plus some of the Deva-subst). In such are hints, a solution, but by correlary a further ___ . But this is the very lesson: that what we do DOES make a difference. If this is so, what are we doing, and why? It is a question that DOES merit asking, bc if we were already doing exactly as each of us ought to be doing, as well as perfectly so (or as near as possible w/in our current ability), is it likely our world or even our personal existence would be so complicated, so unfulfilling and so confusing? Is it possible that those who are most content are also those who (have been) constantly challenged, as we are (being), yet who also are willing to ask honest questions about themselves, receive criticism and act upon it where its value is recognized ... and even then, in turn, reveal to the world how vulnerable this makes us, both as individuals and thus, as a species, as well as in the unique position to actually DO something about our condition? I admit, it is a difficult line, yet I am quite certain it is by an *honest* assessment (self-appraisal) that a man learns (to know) himself best, as well as gains that most valuable and open opportunity to grow, as the Christian would have it, within his Father's Kingdom. As an honest appraisal will show him where his strengths are greatest, so it will reveal to him every nook & cranny where a modest, or perhaps a noticeable improvement ... might bridge the gap. "God of the gaps?" Not if we accept our own invitation for "a closer Walk," yet this, as so much, truly does exist ~ 'tween a man and his Maker.

The above are notes from perhaps a year or two ago, as we sometimes all of us probably record either journal entries or Stream of Consciousness observations which we might only later consider as having more intrinsic significance than their original and continuing personal meaning & relevance. This means, in short, that others may benefit even as we have and as we are ... if we give ourselves the very vote of confidence required to see or newly appreciate this intrinsic Value.

In such ways, here you may see in piecemeal and via a tiny fragment what use it is for some things to be Preserved ... even age after age, while so much else is allowed to fall away. This, if we glimpse it in a moment of time and as a single act, the thought might be expressed as by the author of Matthew, ch.3 v.12 in the prosaic style and literary fashion of the day.

On Effort & Honesty - Commentary

Commentary

Hell may be for heroes, but not for their Promethean actions, nor for their innate and growing awareness of Divine Purpose and the choice to endorse the latter ... if at times a bit like Icarus, as perhaps this Son of God aspires in precisely such Promethean alignment. Thus the 6th meets the Seventh, other Divine energies blend, and Group Endeavor continues ... for all the Sons of Men.

A Divine Purpose* is always served; it is ours to question and decide, how well, how fully, now Nobly and with what degree of self-forgetfulness. Is it, therefore, any wonder that some have gladly described their very Awakening with such expressions as, "falling asleep in the Lord?"

The Mystic experiences, and the Occultist knows that as she awakens to some things and shifts her attention from others, nearly all of what she thought herself to be is as if transformed, or Transfigured ~ before her very eyes.

Eyes? That may very well be the best part!

For what might be accomplished as ego1 turns to ego2 and asks the question, "See what ego3 over there has to add to the situation" [there are one or more solutions to every problem] ... with the concern of all three being nothing other than the furtherance of The Plan of the Logos?

Now if such an incarnating Consciousness and its many expressions (as, or acting as One, we must ever recollect or seek to keep present) is at all met by the equally able, as-yet only somewhat attentive or aspiring consciousness of ALL of Humanity, in whatever degree ... something quite magical occurs. And where Logos, even for us, does indeed mean ALL, Inclusive and IDEAL, all simultaneously, we may speculate and Ponder on this emerging Reality, in which Divine Ideals begin once again (at this stage of cyclic evolution) to meet with the suitable and necessary, properly prepared vehicles, uphadi, means of physical expression.

Where one can take this literally, and gain value, Truth and meaning, it is also possible to see that we are as truly speaking of Ideals themselves, Archetypes and Prototypes ... a living Sphere, world or entire Hierarchy of awareness(es) and entities, the vast majority of Incredible stature relative to Humanity, yet all of them representative of either a future state which some of us shall eventually reach and become, or else the very future which we ourselves are and have been creating for ourselves.

The literal manner in which, and degree to which we build the world of tomorrow is a bold concept, pregnant with meaning and possibilities. Let us hope that both Man and God shall choose precisely those actions and policy revisions (in all walks of life) which will save the day ... especially in our hour of need, and always in the Hour of the moment.

I trust my Vedist friends should as easily grasp this indication as my brothers of Western bent, and mindset. If the latter cannot find the Truth in between, at face value and amongst as easily as the former (and dare I say myself? at times, at times) ... then may he learn to do so!

This is, and has ever been, my Prayer for him.
