I thought G!d took the rib from Adam and made woman?
G!d sinned when "he" did that?
This is metaphorical to depict equality between the sexes and, only man sins.

I don't think its metaphorical. In the beginning one human being was made up of two halfs , one male and one female, that even though were two were literally one complete being consisting of two bodies and a three fold consciousness. Sin , basically adultery caused a split of the two and caused mortality. This is metaphorical to depict equality between the sexes and, only man sins.

I do not see where sexually explicit phrases would represent israel and the relationship with god. There are many ways to phrase that relationship but the relationship of a parent to a child is NOT sexual. Its stands to reason based on this fact that the book is about the male female relationship.

actually in the beginning the male and female were two halfs that made up one whole. Its a threefold being consisting of a male and a female that even though were two were also one as well also being three. A threefold consciousness consisting of two bodies. They were immortal. There was a whole community of humans. When they engaged in sex outside the paired oneness it caused a split and mortality. So the rib thing can be taken as literal. Its like opposite cloning of the other half. If they had stayed that way and had childrent the children would be two that were also one. This is what human really is. We are all halfs of a whole and wont have infinite life until we join with our other half. That's not literal. The allegorical reference to the woman being created from man's rib was only to teach equality between both men and women. Not from the head neither from the feet but from the heart. Then man was said to love his wife and be with her of one flesh. (Gen. 2:24)
