Did the actual pesaching through the land of Egypt and the striking down of the firstborn take place on the 14th or the 15th?

The 14th or 15th of what? GOD didnt actually kill the firstborn. It was knowledge of god and of good actions that killed the sin not the sinner. Alot of the story is symbolic to represent what god really did. That is why Jesus is so important as the true example of what god does and doesnt do.

donnann,

re: "14th or 15th of what?"

The first month of the year.

re: "GOD didnt actually kill the firstborn"

Exodus 12:29-30 says otherwise.

Its the way your reasoning it. Think of Jesus and what he did and didnt do and reason it that way. Its called the divine mind.
