Does actually Worship Take Place At The Baha'i Temple In U.S

I was just curious, as I understand there is only one temple in the U.S, So does actual worship take place there? Or is it like a monument or something?
 
The Wilmette, IL temple is in fact the North American temple, there being one per continent at present (with the exception of South America, which temple is still being built).

Worship does indeed take place there, especially prayers as well as a choir that performs there regularly! This is why the formal name of these temples is "House of Worship."
