Computer Scientists 'Prove' God Exists

I don't get it, if I can imagine unicorn, they must also exist in reality? I'm not making fun, I really don't see the logic.

I cannot explain Godel's theory to you as I have not read it but Ansels, of which at first inspection Godel's appears to be a version of is as follows

1. God is necessarily possessed of every perfect quality
2. Existence is a more perfect than non-existence
3. That which possess every perfect quality will therefore posses existence
4. Therefore God exists.

Your unicorn is not necessarily possessed of every perfect quality and therefore logically it may exist or may not

Could someone post Godel's theory? Thanks

Here's his proof.

I can't accept Ansels version. To me, perfection is an abstract concept conceived by the mind, and not necessarily a natural state. It might be, but as with God, I have nether experienced or observed it.

I wasn't defending it only providing exposition. Personally, I think it fails because existence is not a property. Thanks for the link

This takes me back to my college days. On one occasion, my Philosophy Professor challenged me to present an irrational argument that made no sense, was completely without merit yet had supporting evidence that could not be disputed. I later learned that he did this simply to belittle his students.

Anyway, the argument I came up with was that the only true cause of death was life. My supporting evidence was the fact that everyone and everything that had ever lived or was alive now was either dead or would eventually die.

I still remember his reaction. He looked at me, pointed his finger and opened his mouth as if to say something, but no sound ever came out.

I was later told that I was the only one to have ever completed the challenge and that he never brought it up again.

I have finally found some thing to agree with you. I also can't find common
sense in being God what greater than Him no other can be found. I like rather to prove God's existence by means of the concept of Causality. Since the universe cannot be composed of only created things, the Creator must be there somewhere to have caused the beginning.
