I have just found this forum and thought I would see how I get on. I am an agnostic now, having been a 'born again' as a young person, but lost my faith when I began to serious question it.

Hi Quirky, and welcome. I'm new here myself. This is a great place to learn about spirituality. A lot of very knowledgeable and insightful folks here. Hope you enjoy it.

Namaste and welcome....

Quirky you are not alone. Of the three typical choices Believer, agnostic, atheist, I think the agnostic "I don't know" is the most grounded in reason. I am a believer, not a Believer, a Nontheistic Christian Panentheist. (don't believe what I was taught in Sunday school, but do believe in G!d as spirit, as principle, as a concept behind everything, as the TOE)

I too think being agnostic is an intellectually honest position. (I was one myself before.) But you're also interested in exploring, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be here... Welcome! :)

"...when I began to serious question it..."

--> Good for you! Questioning my childhood faith was one of the best things I ever did.

And being quirky can be a good thing. (Sometimes.)

Quirky, you mention that you are agnostic. As you have posted though, your comments seem much more aligned with atheist. Nothing wrong with that; just curious about the perceived discrepancy.
