My top three (so far) are:

“The Mission” (1986) starring Robert De Niro, Jeremy Irons
“Gandhi” (1982) starring Ben Kingsley, Roshan Seth
“Le Miserable” (1998) starring Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush

It would be great to know what you guys' favorites are, so I can check them out!

I'll be away for a while again... probably be back sometime next week, if I'm not too busy... hopefully...

I like Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna'. It follows the life of Krishna in true Bollywood style. It's a long detailed story on some 56 DVD's! Unfortunately, I only have the 1st 12.

My favorite Christian movie is The Matrix. Highly recommended.

I have a couple.

One is Dreamwork's The Prince of Egypt. Even if one is a diehard anti-theist, there is so much to love about this movie. It's just so beautifully made.

Another is a Satoshi Kon film called Tokyo Godfathers. It's not strictly religious per se, but it does reference God, as well as miracles, it takes place during Christmas eve, and one of the main characters is openly Christian (while the other two are Shinto/secular).
