I believe they had more when they defrocked him.... They've needed an inquisition and to make a stand on this issue for a long time...

I guess it's worth pointing out, this is no country-bumpkin parish priest, this is a high-ranking Vatican official on 'trial' here.

If I recall, guilty parties end up in house arrest in the Vatican...slightly different than jail.
