The big bang is not a discovery...but a scientific theory yet to be completely fleshed out.
But you knew that.

Yea, a scientific theory formulated by a theist believer of the Primal Cause of the universe. You know, a gift to the atheists.

Not a fan of Fred Hoyle then?
'He found the idea that the universe had a beginning to be pseudoscience, resembling arguments for a creator, "for it's an irrational process, and can't be described in scientific terms"
Have you heard of Wun Yi-Shu?
Splendid mind; no one can even get near to refuting his 'eternal universe'.
With the moving of the polar cap East off Antarctica even an uncovered
'Made by God' chiseled along the Trans-Antarctic mountains will not suitable as evidence.
That was an Aristotelian theory that died in 1922 with Lemaitre's discovery that matter had a beginning with the big bang.
He found it in the Bible, Book of Genesis.
He found it in the Bible, Book of Genesis.
In point of fact he found it by extrapolating Einstein. To cheapen this man's brilliance by suggesting he found it in the Bible is beyond absurd.
Shib, if you will read a little bit of history you will find that Lemaitre did indeed create the idea in 1922. When Einstein came along, Lemaitre also used a lot of Einstein's theories as evidence to support his big bang theory.
Lematire was a priest by profession AND a physicist by choice. He, at least, understood which side of himself to bring forward depending on what he was doing. Priest for religion. Scientist for science.

some say just open your eyes and look at life
One needs to be able to define God. Is She/He/It the omnipotent omnipresent being ancient religions created trying to explain the world. Does God evolve as life on earth does or is she/he/it independent of time and space? The Ultimate Evidence of God
In 1922 the Theory of the big bang was the gift Science needed to break up with Aristotle that the universe was infinite. It was the gift of a Theist, George Lemaitre: The universe did have its beginning.
Now, the point is to demonstrate what or who caused the universe to begin because from the logical point of view, the universe could not have caused itself to exist. Simply because being the universe composed of matter and matter cannot cause itself to exist, the Primal Cause has ultimately become obvious.
Now, to all atheists, I have the following message: I am ready to give you the benefit of the doubt and probably even my word that I am ready to change my views about the uiverse if there is one that believes the universe caused itself to exist. If the answer stands the screening of Logic, my proposal is as good as gold that I'll be no longer a theist.

The god in my study into telepathy and reincarnation came through as a human being who in numerous life cycles here on earth and in the parallel universe evolved into a great leader, a family man with a wife and children. In his last life on earth he has been known as the pharoah Djoser (his pyramid still stands in Egypt). His wife in her last life on earth has been know as Seti I (her mummy is dispayed in a British museum). In the parallel universe together they are parents to people known to us on earth as Moses, Jesus, the Gautama Buddha, the prophet Mohamed, the real Dalai Lama (no the current fake) and pope John XXIII. I would call them our Earth locals. There are other life supporting places in the universe although not all carbon based (Creator)
The Creator is an entirely different being, overseeing our entire universe.
So do you believe God is the Universe? I started believing that after I saw that movie The Secret in 2007.
