Abortion: the Bible does not support a key Pro-Life position.

The Jewish interpretation of "Thou Shalt Not Kill" is "Thou Shalt Not Murder". So there is no contradiction, just a matter of deciding where the boundaries are.

Unfortunately the Bible has been compiled from a multitude of sources prior to the invention of the birth control pill.
What now?

What now indeed! From what I can tell, they are making it up as they go along when it comes to modern ethical dilemmas. The all knowing, all seeing, all everything everything God knew this stuff was coming. Why didn't God cover modern ethical issues as well in the good book?????

Just like arguing the constitution in relation to modern weaponry and the right to bear arms eh?

fun stuff...

Biblical times didn't have to worry about teenage pregnancy...that is when they all got married and became pregnant...as soon as they were fertile...G!d said they were ready, go forth and multiply.

Uh. No. Not just like that at all Wil. The Founding Fathers were mortals last time I checked. They could not know what 200 years in the future would bring.

God is eternal. All knowing. He did know what moral problems would pop up 2000 years later, or 2 million years later. He's God! He could have covered all the moral issues going forward forever. Unfortunately, He only covered issues current to the time period the Bible was written. Odd that.

Funny you would say that. Actually, he just did and I wrote the book, out in ebook format.
Go ahead, call me names, other have without ever bothering to read it. I don't mind, there is a lot of garbigy stuff out there, so it will take some time to sink in.
