I have never posted that the bible is nonsense...
I have posted repeatedly that it (the Christian Bible) is a compendium of 66 books, 2/3 the OT, the Jewish canon (rearranged to end on a bad note, so the good news will look better) mostly written by Jews (including the new testament)...open to all variety of interpretation but I believe to be full of metaphor, allegory, parables, historical fiction, metaphysics, divine thought, and mythology.... where one draws those lines is upto them...(how the follow the letter of the law vs the intent of the law)
I know vegan orthodox Jews that won't eat vegan cheese on a vegan burger, because of an implied kosher violation... I've no clue whether their religious items are leather or not... or if their shank is real at the seder table.
I am asking you though... do you still think stoning adulterers is correct, and having multiple wives and concubines, or do you see some wiggle room in following the laws of the land, and progress in this regard? (since you seem so steadfast on other things)
