The idear... repeat the title in your post...and then your added comment.

Mine...

If G!d practiced what she preached.... like forgiveness....everyone would go to heaven.

If G!d practiced what she preached....like letting go....then there would be no such thing as blasphemy.

LOL, Wil ... you're a showman, I'll give you that :D

But really, shouldn't this be in the 'Lounge'?

I know you delight in making sweeping assumptions, but your invitation does rather rest on a massive and erroneous assumption regarding the God of the Abrahamic Traditions – basically it's an error of anthropomorphic attribution, something you usually rail against, so I do hope this is not an ambush for the unwary participant?

No trap...just fun...lounge maybe...

but I am talking about the abrahamic G!d...so hell if we are gonna add ANY human attributes whynot a sense of humor?

plus I've learned that reckless exploration...pushing the envelope...brainstorming...leads to discovery, great contemplation....if you wanna get the fruit ya gotta go out onto the limb...

Come on brah....have fun with it!...you got one or more to add.

If G!d practice what she preached....

I never could reconcile the ideas of Hell and a loving God. You can't have both. Purgatory, maybe, but not Hell.

But then, Heaven causes problems, too. A while back, I attended a Christian funeral where the minister, noting that the deceased loved to shop, could now spend all eternity shopping. Does that imply that you need money in heaven? Or that some souls have to work in retail jobs?

Besides, if heaven is where you can enjoy all of your earthly pleasures for eternity, there must be a lot of orgies there.
