I am glad to have a place like this where people can be civil and learn rather than blind wild accusations. I told a lady on youtube 3 days ago that she had flawed sources on a topic about Islam, which has now turned into a Yell at the Muslims show, where she tells her pity story (the generic I was married to a sheik for xx years and all he did was rape and beat me in the name of Allah) which if it were true I said I feel bad that someone of the Ummah has acted this way, and if he is a sheik she should bring forth his details so that someone can contact him about his errors. She started quoting Aya (to which I refuted her misinterpretation, and of course she naturally has done "university studies" on the subject and consulted Al-Azhar.. which she calls the TOP SEAT of knowledge in Islam), then she proceeds to check my youtube subscriptions and declare me a troll with no real knowledge of Islam. after days of her and a few people who believed her story bashing in I said I don't have anything else to say If you cannot deny what I'm saying is true... She has decided to block me a dozen times and still references me in her post... Why can't people actually discuss their issues before declaring it evil, or just leave it alone.

Why would you ever even scroll down to the comment section of YouTube!? Do you like that heavy feeling in your stomach?

For such 'outlets' of communication, one would first need to evaluate the intention of the speaker.

If you had a personal experience as hers... how would you feel?
I told her that if it was a true story, I do feel massively bad for her, but I also told her what she quoted and the description she gave was incorrect. I also provided sources etc. and she just accused me of using taqiyya (of which I later explained I was not under duress so taqiyya wouldn't apply IF I considered Taqiyyah to be Halal). I did this only to be called a troll a dozen times. IF her story is real then I blame her ex-husband, her Imam, her local believers for allowing such injustice, but if it is her lying, then all those people have the right to blame her for backbiting (equal sin in Torah and Bible).

It is over with now and I am going to let it go, I agree with all of you. I don't agree with public condemnation and carpet accusations as is normal for such outlets. I think I'll stick to commenting on good Islamic sources and not ones even I disagree with on youtube. :)

Please excuse my hijacking your rant thread with another YouTube rant, but this effects (almost) everybody here one way or another...

I'll be over there. *points toward the (in)famous Mope Corner where several cute :kitty:s wait for their breakfasts*
