Wise beyond his years sometimes; other times he's just a nutty kid, but he's always thinking. At present he's working on the end time prophecy....We seems like a wise kid. I love his thoughts on the pizza

Oh my goodness! Would you care to share what he has thought up so far?Wise beyond his years sometimes; other times he's just a nutty kid, but he's always thinking. At present he's working on the end time prophecy....
Not much so far. His main concern is that he'll be bored if eternity is for eternity!Oh my goodness! Would you care to share what he has thought up so far?
What a fascinating little boy you are raising! Not much so far. His main concern is that he'll be bored if eternity is for eternity!
He's not mine. He's my grandnephew being raised by my wife's niece and her husband. What a fascinating little boy you are raising!
Oh okay, thank you very much for clarifying. He's not mine. He's my grandnephew being raised by my wife's niece and her husband.
Sort of. He's an only child and around adults most of the time. He hears a lot and makes sense of it in his own way. Sometimes as you can see, very profoundly. I'll throw a little religion at him once in a while both Hindu and Christian, but his interpretations are his own. Usually instead of me helping him understand such things, he ends up helping me or at least gives me cause to think.Oh okay, thank you very much for clarifying.
He sounds like a pearl though! Does he just come up with all of this on his own?
That's amazing. Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein, had a similar upbringing as him. She was very mature, but scientifically instead of spiritually.Sort of. One isn't really. It's just that my wife is Hindu and I've studied her tradition for many years now. I've come to realize that one interconnects with the other, but are at the same time separate. In my wife's tradition Hinduism encompass all things including Christianity. I am for all intent and purpose Christian, but I do follow some basic Hindu principles and participate in certain Hindu ceremonies. My in-laws refer to me as either a Hindu devote of Christ or Christian follower of Hindu principle. You may have explained this to me already, but how is one Hindu and Christian at the same time?

My wife is from the Fiji Islands. Her tradition follows no particular sect or order, but rather a blend of all with the basic idea that God is one. The principles I try to follow, more like goals I suppose are Dharma, Karma, Artha, Moksha. Although, being Christian, my interpretation of theses varies quite a bit from traditional Hinduism. So does my wife's tradition for that matter. What sect is she, if you don't mind my asking?
What sort of Hindu principles stuck with you?
Oh okay. Thank you for your explanation though! If she grew up in the Fiji islands, did she move to where you are?My wife is from the Fiji Islands. Yes she did. Over 26 years ago now. We brought her niece over about 17 years ago. She, her husband and my grandnephew live a few miles away.If she grew up in the Fiji islands, did she move to where you are?

English is the primary language, but you'd never know it walking down the street. The Indian descendants like my wife speak Hindi and the native Fijians speak Fijian.Do they speak another language other than English there?
That sounds like an amazing experience. If you don't mind my asking, you met your wife in your country, correct?English is the primary language, but you'd never know it walking down the street. The Indian descendants like my wife speak Hindi and the native Fijians speak Fijian.
