My attention span is a lot loser than that!...

This is not the greatest place for a dissertation... Ya start out with discussion of a topic... Establish a reputation, as to how you respond, take criticism, provide backup, further discussion, etc... Then you may...may find folks will reas as post of a few hundred words....

10,000 characters, not words. But still, I agree with this sentiment and what wil mentioned. Smaller posts to engage and get the dialogue flowing and then, maybe, more lengthy posts.
