Gaming?

Do you think playing video games is as valuable to keep your mind sharp as card and board games?
I do, Wil. i think that may have something to do with the games themselves though.
So...anti violence...no fps for me...

And I enjoy the luminosity type things...can't understand the thrill of Zelda or community building things... Wouldn't mind something like a game that taught me programming or electronics...

So what game would be recommended. (One of.the reasons.I've avoided games is because.of an addictive personality and a.fear of.time consumption, books are hard enough to put.down)

Use to play pinball, the old upright variety, that's about as close as I ever got to a video game.

"Welcome to Xenon."
"Try a tube shot."

I could go on, but I won't. I played Xenon when it came out in 1982 or 1983. It was one of the first pinball games with an actual computer voice chip embedded in the machine. I wish that I could find one within my price range (I would ♡ to own it like one of my maternal cousins [he owned a pinball game that he used to play].)

hmm... well... have you tried the game Civilisation? it's quite enjoyable though not really a game geared towards programming or electronics. i tend to play RPGs and world building/city building games. i like to design things and other times i want to sneak around in the woods and speak Elven :)

I think it is mostly knowing I have an addictive nature.... And see how compelling these designers are and knowing they would.have me playing when I should be doing other things.... IO is bad enough!!
