a figment of your imagination
I do. Not any mythical entity flying through the night giving out the gifts his elves made over the course of a year at lightspeed...

But I do believe in the spirit of Santa as evidenced by the joy he brings so many...

My son defended his belief..."I can prove there is a Santa....no way my dad bought all that stuff" in fifth grade...

I believe in the krampus too

Yes I do, in the form of St Nicholas and like Wil it's the spirit of charity and joy he has left with us that touches my heart every year.

In case anyone is wondering, there really was a St. Nicholas. I once visited his cathedral, the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, in Amsterdam.

I recall being asked whether I believed in Santa Claus during our lunch recess in the third grade.... Now I can't recall what I said.. It's been a loong time.

I just asked my wife a few minutes ago if she remembers us encouraging a belief in Santa with our children and she responded firmly "No!"

The concept that is closest to Santa Claus in Hinduism is Ganesha's vibration. (benevolent, jolly, giving, loving, ...)

I don't believe in Santa Claus.

I see him in every mall all over between Thanksgiving to Christmas. How could he not be real...

On a serious note my parents insist on my son getting gifts for Christmas. So we tried telling him Santa is giving them to him... to which he looks stearnly at me and says, "No! Allah Gives me the Gifts. Santa delivers them to Mimi (My mother) and Mimi sets them out." HE'S 5!!! He then asked what was Christmas about and we tell him it is simply a celebration of the birth of Prophet Isa (PBUH). My mom let it slide not saying birthday...
