It has come to my attention that perhaps Aussie and I and our comradery is rubbing people the wrong way. That was never our intention I assure you. While we do enjoy sharing information on this site and having a laugh or two, Aussie and I agree that if it's becoming a nuisance, then we should just leave. So, I put it to the members of the forum. Should we leave? Just say the word. No hard feelings either way. It's been a blast!;)

Depends on your goals.

If you don't like open discussions and the occasional disagreement this place may not be for you.

If you are looking for yes (wo)men to agree with all your thoughts this place may not be for you.

If my faith has to be the same as your faith to allow discussion this place may not be for you.

You two are the only "couple" I know of on this site....you often seem to troll and "like" each others posts as you team up to defend each other...it has pissed some folks off as you do it without supporting data... I find it comical....and probably a result of you two chumming around with each other.

I've taken sabbaticals and disagreed and agreed with most everyone on this site at one time or another....it is a thing...

If you want to argue a tenuous and unsupported position and won't attempt to grasp the opposing views... You gotta have thicker skin....and not resort to name calling without expecting ridicule...

These thoughts are my own, not thoae of your station manager, network, forum or ISP, your mileage may vary.

The only thing I have to say is what I wrote in the other thread, creating division is contrary to any relationship.
You don't think that you create it, and I disagree.

You are both welcome and encouraged to stay. If you think that your joking and comradery has rubbed some people the wrong way, then you might consider using the private message feature to express the 'inside jokes' or references to past situations, particularly in cases where they might leave other members on here confused as to what you're referring.

Don't know if it has or not. That's why NJ asked.

Don't need PM for that. Easy enough to just pick up the telephone. When we make an inside joke or reference past situations; it's done to share with the group, invite inquiries and encourage dialogue, not to leave anyone out of the loop.

Well, I think I'll take a break for now while everyone's needle is stuck in the groove on their Donald Trump LP and decide after that whether or not it's worth staying. Cheers.

Hope to see you back again soon, Aussie.

:kitty:s will be waiting for you, Aussie, including one that closely resembles NJ's previous furred manager ("the mountain lion" was how you described him once if I recall correctly...)

My beloved "Kitty" earned that title fair and square as our scars, mine and Aussie's, bear out. Mean as he was, I sure do miss him...:(

Sounds just like both Jakie and Greycat. Jaķie was the one that I describe as the cartoon character Heathcliff in long black fur, and Greycat was the one who had the perpetual cartoon bubble over her head that basically had just one word in it: DIE. My friends still cannot believe that Greycat "adopted" me within three visits.

You know what? I think I'll follow Aussie's lead. Looking forward to his visit this year. See you when.....

Hopefully the two of you have a good visit and I look forward to hearing from you when you decide to come back to IO.

Thanks Steve. Aussie and crew will be leaving for Santa Monica shortly. They won't be up my way until after Christmas though. I'll probably pop in from time to time as the spirit moves me, but I doubt I'll be getting into anything heavy anytime soon.

It looks like every now and then you gotta matt 10:14 eh?

Well if ya can put down the sword sometime I'd like to share a nog with you two after the holidays!
