My belief

My belief is simple to follow.
I believe in Duality, Universal Laws,and LOA.
I believe in A Supreme Creator, and a host of helpers.
I don't believe in these doctrines being inspired word of this
Deity.
I believe organized religion is a reflection of civilization at that time in
History.

I believe that it is based on astrotheology and sun-worship to name a few.

Many believe religion is created by man, whether there is a belief in gods or not. I happen to be one of those! Gods may or may not exist. Either way, religion has been created by all too fallible humans.

Sounds like a pretty solid start. As for myself, I felt the presence of God long before I ever cracked open a Bible, but scripture gave everything I had felt and experienced much greater depth and meaning. I regularly read the Bible as well as The Bhagavad Gita. For me, Divine Providence shines right through negative human influence. I have no problem with organized religion per se, as I see religion as just man's way of showing reverence to God. It's the business of religion I sometimes take issue with.
