I just saw a McDonald's UK television commercial depicting we folks in South Carolina, USA in an erroneous manner. We, generally speaking, wear more John Deere caps than Stetsons and big hair has long since gone by the wayside while a "stack" refers to (sorry ladies) a particular female form or it refers to pancakes, not to quarter pound hamburgers from McDonalds. bon appetit

Y'all come now, y'all hear! We need the tourist dollars.

You mean you're not all inbred hicks with confederate flags tattooed or stickered on anything and everything? C'mon now, how many Camaros are on cinder blocks in the front yards in your trailer park? Did you ever climb a water tower with a bucket of paint to defend your sister's honor?

(I used to live in Rock Hill and York, south of Charlotte);)

Besides, what do those cheeky limeys know, anyway?

I first read this post as people from Southern California, rather than South Carolina. I was very confused about the misrepresentation.
