ok you are really going deep on this one. So let's got back to my earlier question, what is the point of these categories? Stating that we disagree because I have no preference and you don't know enough. What doesthat add?

I would further add that it is unfortunate to categorise the other in negative terms.

And yes, having slept on dirt bag beach two winters in a row in key west, and tenting up with the homeless on wakiki in Hawaii... And then in and out of resorts.... I get called both part of the unwashed masses and the elite...

But calls me whatever you like...lol...whatever category you prefer... I'll take no afront at holier than thou....or dirtbagger...

What is the point? Why categorize anything?

Catholic /protestant, atheist /religious, male /female, criminal/lawman, pet/ predator, safe bridge /dangerous one...

Why do we categorize?

Initially it was for survival...the ability to separate detrimental plants and animals and humans.from beneficial plants,.animals and humans...

Nothing has changed.

You don't enter into.contracts, business agreements with just anyone, or you shouldn't if you are discerning that.is.

It.is the same.with churches.... Folks here giving me grief because I am discerning of which church I go... Really?

Are you saying Im giving you grief for that? Are you intentionally misunderstanding me? At two points asked why about two specific questions and you give the most generic answer.

Stating that we disagree because I have no preference and you don't know enough. And the answer is evolution.

I don't care which church you go to, Thomas doesn't either. Do you mind dropping your defenses so we can actually get to the point?

I've answered why do we label, why do we categorize.... And why I prefer a venue which allows discussion and not just getting preached at.

I know, still I have asked you specific questions that you some how miss, and I don't see how this is going to change. I only have so much patience for something I don't think will get us anywhere anyway.

Anyway, categorizing is a mental construct; they can be just as bad as it can be good; we have a choice whether to categorize or not; we should do our best to be aware of our categories as not to be ruled by them. In my opinion.

And as to me answering your specific question... I don't catch them all, especially when the are buried in a paragraph...

So when I say...what specifically did I miss and not answer... If you rephrase or quote the question in question...I'll give it a shot.
