He was actually convicted on a subsequent assault (he was charged with first- or second-degree rape for the initial assault, but only got convicted of third-degree.)

I won't post a link because of some of the details in the article (the victim's age at the time of her assault as well as the age of the other victim.)

Can you imagine the double trauma of this? Beyond the assault,now the one who committed the assault wants to share time with the product of the assault.

Trying not to use language that pertains specifically to this evil.

There have even been State cases where the offender goes to prison for life. Then, ,his family sued for custody.
