Something I read earlier today that I don't know where to put

https://www.yahoo.com/news/fox-news-host-tucker-carlson-132945167.html

For those who don't want to check out the link, Tucker Carlson believes that "white supremacy" is a hoax.

Has he forgotten the Ku Klux Klan? They're still around, "loud and proud". Hell, David Duke supported Carlson's favourite candidate, President Drumpf.

Something that caught my eye: https://www.yahoo.com/news/sign-language-interpreter-twista-concert-132554141.html

I appreciate Twista for having an ASL interpreter at his/her concerts for the hearing impaired fans.

That is not something I would expect to see at a concert, but I love the idea. In fact, I went to a festival last weekend where they had some ASL interpreters who were really into the music and the artists incorporated them into their sets. That was the first I’d ever thought about it.

Hopefully these are the first of many such inclusions.

I've seen them at a few drag shows, but I'm not sure if they were competent (I don't require an ASL interpreter nor do I "speak" ASL.) The last time that I encountered someone who had ASL interpreters was in my last Queer Migrations class; prior to that was in senior high school (1979-1983.) We had a deaf/hard-of-hearing segment of both teachers and students, and I attended classes with a few of the deaf students.
