Senior Moments

May you have an easier time getting the IV needle in than it was for me (my veins "jumped"/"collapsed"/caused no end of problems for the staff at the surgical center here.) It took around eight people to get everything in/straightened out.
When I was in the hospital for my gall bladder a few years back, I learned there is a such thing as an "IV specialist" in this case a nurse who does almost exclusively that I guess. They had trouble with my veins due to dehydration plus they've always been small... so they called her and waited for her...

Anyway I hope you're feeling better each day!

Whenever I have a blood draw (a1cs and other bloodwork) the phlebologists use "butterfly needles" due to my "weird" veins. The surgical center didn't have them for anything AFAIK... At least, I listened to the preop instructions (no eating or drinking before the operation due to anesthesia [oh, the stories that I've overheard about other patients, including one who takes/took the same diabetes medications as I do!])

I'm looking at reading glasses, but they're not really needed...

Another Senior Moment for me!

I can't find where I stuck the contents of my wallet after I emptied it (health insurance card/gift cards/etc.) The only cards that I still have in my wallet are an expired state ID and a current state ID! At least they didn't go through the laundry!
