Third Awakening via Trump?

People from around the globe have educated me that the US religious experience is unique. Our brand of Evangelical short earth literalism and fundamentalism is home grown and unique.

I thought an Obama presidency could expose and reduce racism. The Trump election proved I was wrong...,but could he usher in a Third Awakening?

I have also found this to be true - that our Religious experience in the U.S. is unique.

This is just as true when it comes to Islam. There is definitely an “American Brand” of Islam and there are homegrown sects & comminities that are new & unique in many ways.

I had no hope that the Obama Administration would produce much of anything - especially not an “awakening” of any kind and I feel the same about the Trump Administration - The Sleep will continue on I believe.
