A Quaker woman told me, all religions lead to heaven. I do not agree. Would satanist enter heaven, perhaps not in the manner by which we describe a Godly heaven. But maybe heaven exists within the realm of a person's devotion of belief.

If indeed heaven exists according to individual and personal preference then perhaps heaven exists for everyone.

Aside note on Satanism: there are sects of Satanism which are atheistic, materialist, and don't believe in heaven...

Some religious Satanists might believe in a reconquest of heaven...

My point is does the idea of heaven exist on the basis of one's belief?

Telling people from other religions what their goal is seems rather presumptous to me.

Please explain?

I'm sure the Quaker lady wouldn't be pleased if for example a Hindu told her she was misinformed about "heaven", and actually her aim was liberation from the cycle of rebirth (whatever).
Imposing your religious beliefs on others is patronising and arrogant, in my view.

imposing vs discussing

You don't have to...you are not a quaker woman.

This is the nature of io, learning about each others beliefs and understandings

No-one has bothered to ask @KnowSelf why he does not agree with the Quaker woman -- as is his right?

The question came up while eating lunch in the work place....somehow my coworker said in reference to heaven it doesn't matter what you believe all religions or beliefs lead to heaven. I did not discuss the topic any further, however, I made a mental note and posted it in this forum.

I hold (loosely) a similar belief...if there is a G!d, a creator, then it would want the best for its creations...if forgiveness is a thing (70x7) then us all ending up eventually in the best possible situation this G!d can create is a givenm

I'd like to modify my answer; when I die I will go to my appointed destination. Notice I did not say my appointed place of rest, I don't know what it will be like I can only surmise it will be different.

Your "cow-worker" ? ;)

I think what she probably meant is that if people follow religion with the right intention, they will achieve their intention ..
..or something like that..

Perhaps your friend is right. Both Christian and Hindu scripture do tell us that once our time in the flesh is though, our souls return to their creator. The Bible goes on to describe a gulf in heaven, a good side and a bad side as it were, where all will await the final judgment.

Christian and Hindu scriptures describe quite different things, and I don't think these false equivalences respect either tradition. And in my view, universalism and perennialism are usually the result of woolly or wishful thinking. They remind me of a stoned hippy saying "It's all one, man". :p

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Set thy heart on me alone, and give to me thy understanding: thou shall in truth live in me hereafter.
(Bhagavad Gita 12:8)
