what is God's purpose?

Like rock God is known to have many roles, all of which are subject to interpretation.
 
Everything is subject to interpretation. Everything we experience is our interpretation of reality. Some are just more accurate interpretations than others.

that gave me a headache.

It's to give direction but... it means to have direction so the purpose of giving direction is having direction... doesn't seem like a satisfying answer. Though in a way it has an infinite ring to it.

Perhaps, is it the mission of the informed to enlighten the uninformed?
 
I don't think God has a purpose in the traditional way of what purpose means. God defies human comprehension
