Corona and you!

The UK went into lockdown after Christmas. I had my first vaccination about a month ago. Phizer. No side effects. The 2nd jab was supposed to come 3 weeks later the they extended it to 12 weeks because they said the first one gives quite a high immunity and they want to get the maximum people vaccinated.

The schools went back this week and businesses will re-open mid-April. Restaurants and pubs will only be allowed to serve outside seating.

They want to make this the last lockdown but business and furlough relief has been extended until November. Who knows how many businesses and jobs will be lost by the end of it.

How is lockdown working for you?

This time last year, the streets were quiet. I remember likening it to a ghost-town. Our road leads onto a road with a constant traffic-flow. There was none. Quiet both ways.

This last lockdown has been nowhere near as quiet. I'm not sure, but the percentage drop-off of compliance is, I would have thought, significant.

We had our jabs. A-Z, so let's see how that goes...
