But are we always reborn upon this Earth? Or are there many other worlds and dimensions into which we may be reborn? Including possibly -- but perhaps rarely -- to be reborn again on the Earth?

Certainly a point to ponder. I kinda like the idea of parallel dimensions myself. The Bhagavad Gita does at least suggest this. Then in a literal sense, John 14:2 also comes to mind.

Wearing my other hat, as a Traditionalists of the Sophia Perennis, I'm with the Sufi René Guénon (unrivalled in my book as a metaphysician) and the Tibetan Buddhist Marco Pallis would both assert the answer is 'no' — the Nature of the All-Possible is not to repeat itself.

Without getting into too deep a metaphysic here, I'll start a new thread on this topic, although it is one I have touched on before when discussing this problem.
