However, I think that you do believe this:-

The Catholic Church teaches that the death of Jesus on the Cross is a sacrifice that redeems man
and reconciles man to God.
However..
The moral transformation of the Christian is not the result of merely following Christ's example and teachings, but a supernatural gift merited by the sacrifice of Jesus, for "by one man's obedience many will be made righteous"..
..not a lot different, really.

If that is the case I feel it imperative that in my opinion you don't come close to meeting your goals.

You come off (again in my opinion) hypersensitive to criticism while being quite "my way or the highway" when it comes to beliefs you choose to belittle.

Again, if that is not your intent, than you may wish to rethink your delivery.

What you see as "belittle", I see as enlighten. :)

This Christian / Muslim thing has been going on for centuries.
Go ahead and criticise my views. I don't mind .. as long as it's clean, that is.

I believe you fully know how salty you get. I would be willing to bet you have had issues with past forums...

When we run into the same walls over and over maybe we need a new compass...

Seriously that's not what anyone's interested in doing here. The point is most of us don't know enough about other's faiths to be in a fair position to criticize their views.

Most of us here are really interested in learning about other faiths. It's why we are here. If a person from a faith not my own has time and energy to explain their beliefs and engage in dialogue and mutual questions, most of us are interested in dialogue to learn and share.

But if someone from a faith not my own decides to make it their duty to dump on and rubbish my own faith -- especially with not much else than a Wikipedia knowledge of my beliefs and scriptures -- I'm going to be patient for a while, hoping that person will be hearing and making an attempt to understand what I am saying ... and then when I find that person isn't actually interested in sharing but just in lecturing down to me, trying to enlighten me by ignoring my responses and repeating the same mantra at me ... it can only go on for so long. I'm only human after all?

Yes, and so am I .. although one of my names means Jesus :)
..actually, I don't think Jesus would ever give up teaching his faith, even if others objected to it.
i.e. disbelievers and polytheists

Jesus, you know, never forced himself upon anyone. They came to him. He healed them. They flocked to him in multitudes because his words bought light and joy and peace of mind. They loved him and could not get enough of him. They still do. The Jesus of the gospels, that is ...
