Newbie here. Not much of a big opener. I hope to meet new people. I have strong opinions and new personal experiences but no harm is meant by them. Is it really busy on the forums? What topics do you guys usually discuss? (What type of religious themes for example)

This place is not super-busy, it is quite possible to keep up with everything that gets posted here. We discuss everything, take a look at the forum structure, which will give you a sense of the topics.

What don't we discuss?

We enjoy discussing/dissecting the various religious beliefs....inside a particular faith we discuss nuance regarding tradition....in open forums we dig further.

We go from agnostic to Zoroastrian alphabetically from atheist to bible thumper literally.

This forum may not be the busiest, but it is the friendliest compared to certain other 'religious forums' . . . :rolleyes:

We dance on the most sensitive of subjects...

Many of us were raised to keep politics and religion personal as it does raise issues.

Part of our goal is to allow a space of in depth discussion combined with respect. We don't always succeed. Personally my snark occasionally gets in the way. But we try as evidenced by the folks who leave our racetrack cause there ain't enough car wrecks.
