Evangelicals got Trumped

Good article, and made some excellent points.

When 'traditional catechetics' is seen as old hat, it's replaced by a sociological gospel, and when the society changes, then that gospel falls flat.

The first sociological Gospel was Luke's, but he located the sociological argument within a greater context. Remove the greater context, and you're a hollow shell ...

The fact that Muslims and left-wing ideas can be, and are used as bogeymen says a lot about society there.

Same old story, people serving either greed or goodness. And co-opting religion to try and get it to serve greed, is hardly a new endeavor.
