I read an essay on the website entitled The Promised Messiah -Prophecies Fufilled by Ataul Wahid LaHaye. I presume its publication there indicates that the viewpoints expressed by the author reflect the position of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Furthermore, I assume that you, as a member of that faith community, subscribe to the views set forth therein. If I am wrong in that regard please correct me. If those are your views, however, I suspect that you and I are not going to be involved in many conversations.

The kindest thing I can say about the essay’s description of Jews and Judaism during the time of Jesus is misinformed. I could use much harsher language, but I will refrain.

By the way, it appears that you have quoted at some length from that website without proper attribution. It would be better form if you did provide that attribution.

Having read the essay in question just now, I have to agree that it is very problematic in its portrayal of the Jews. Would you comment, @Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadi?

Other religions are also misrepresented, but nowhere near as viciously. We don't want that kind of material to be presented on our site in a matter of fact, unchallenged way. Please engage in the discussion, show where you stand personally.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was given a trunk of books by the Bab and Baha'u'llah, he was also made aware of the Faith, as was his successor.

Oh, I can see how uncomfortable that is, and I don't want to torture him, but by not taking a position on the issue, he is already giving offense, through silent consent with those horrible statements.
