That is true, perhaps a book. However, in our case, we get the Sanskrit original and translation in Hindi, many a times without any comments, that is very nice.

Here is a simple English translation of Avadhoot Gita, not accompanied by Sanskrit original or commentary. Sage Dattatreya (lit.: given by the three Gods, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) is not talking about any God but about Atman/Self/Brahman. So, if the translator mentions God, replace it with Atman/Self/Brahman (PDF download):

Have to say ... events taking the turn they currently are ... the prospect is not looking too peaceful ...
They want a few nice catastrophes. They can't wait ... because it's going to lead to Baha'i world peace.

Thank you. I'll look around

I’m thinking that it will continue and even get worse for at least three more generations, because most people aren’t even thinking about what needs to be done to actually help stop it. Even when people start doing what needs to be done, it will still take at least two more generations for it to stop getting worse and start getting better.

Please remember, Avadhoot Gita oneness does not recognize God, prophets, sons, messengers, manifestation and mahdis.
It is not your cup of tea. It is my cup of tea. :D
That fits my ideas like a glove.
No probs for me.

Human nature will stay the same. And in three more generations humans will be still be fighting.
Unreasonably poverty and unreasonable wealth will still be around, disputes and wars will still exist, from the level of neighbours fighting up to countries and groups of countries .
Whilst the chaos that is Nature exists, humans will squabble, even Bahais.

..and you know this how?
..just a wild guess, I would say. :)

So you ask questions, then answer them all by yourself........... about me. What a joke. :D

Here is what I wrote before:-

Yes, I feel certain about the above, what I wrote.
You've written some quite aggressive posts and threads on Interfaith, and that is not peaceable, nay, rather it seems to seek argument.
Wars are arguments with force, with weapons....

But let me explain....
Archaeology tells that Mankind fought with Mankind in the earliest mists of time, as far back as we can trace, anyway. Wars, arguments, rape, pillage, looting and murder have existed since early history, when Israelites roamed wilderness and since Hammurabli wrote laws. Wars and endless killings have occurred within and without Christianity and Islam, as far back as their beginnings. Revolutions such as happened in France circa 1790 and so many other places. My Grandad fought in the Great War, as Russia crashed in to bloody chaos. My Dad fought in the next world war and watched Muslims and Hindus in conflict within his own regiment as they faced the Japanese enemy. Wars like Vietnam and genocides like Cambodia have occurred all over the place. Massive countries have/are invading smaller ones and threatening atomic warfare if any try to interfer. That's our past, our present and sadly it will be our future, because mankind just argues, with next door, down the road, within country, without, and mostly anywhere else. Even the cults and new religions of today that promise wonderful peace have their fights within, fights without and even plan their armies. Poverty, unfair wealth, wars, crimes, international crimes, squabbling.......... all in three generations.... maybe because three generations won't have experienced enough trauma to stop it, and anyway they're going to want it all..... !!

But apart from all that, ain't humanity sweet?

I don't see anything wrong with debate, in good faith.
That is one way we can learn. :)

The political map is constantly changing, yes.

Maybe .. and maybe not.
Things might happen quicker than you imagine, and Almighty God might send us some help. :)

Really?

And that has worked out exactly how in the past couple thousand years?

Yes, as the help was sent, the turmoil predicted.

Happy to share the predictions, what will happen before we sit down at the peace tables to talk.

Better still, we can help now by serving each other and the communities we live in.

Regards Tony

Since I don't believe in any Gods at all, being firmly in the grasp of Chaotic Nature... police forces and armies will never disappear.

Surely you don't believe that your God can do away with crime? Every war has its criminals, you know.

This is predicted, in quite graphic terms in fact Thomas.

Happy to share if you are interested.

Regards Tony

Hi Tony....... As I read your post I felt the mantle of prophesy descending upon my shoulders.... only just for a second or two, but descend it did.
And I saw the future of mankind........ wars, crimes and more wars.

The old badger has prophesied ....... but no blooming person three generations from now is going to blooming remember! Too busy rushing after mammon and sorting out the neighbours! :(

police forces and armies will never disappear.

But their function may change over time. There have been experiments, mostly failed ones, but there will be future experiments. I'm optimistic in this respect.

Experiments: "purely defensive armirs", a.k.a Neutrality. Switzerland comes to mind - the last time Swiss armies went out to attack a foreign country predates the current Swiss state's existence. They do supply troops to UN "blue helmet" deployments, however.

The German army used to be purely defensive since WWIi, although Germany is not neutral, being a NATO member. Unfortunately, with the Kosovo war a couple of decadrs ago, Germany once again participated in a war waged outside its borders, attacking Serbia. So that's one of the failed experiments.

Sweden and Finland also used to be neutral, but are now joining NATO. It will be interesting to see whether they can resist the forces which drove Germany to offensive warfare once more.

Police: A change from "being the enforcers of the rich and powerful" to "serving to mediate conflict between citizens" is at least imaginable.
