Not all laws are followed by everyone, not all rules are admired by everyone. The point is rules are for the benefit of the people and to lead them into having a successful relationship with others and the rule maker. The biblical purpose of Gods laws and ordinances.

The Laws of God are the light in the darkness that guide our way.

When humans cloud these laws in their own interpretations, then darkness depends upon humanity again.

Luckily, God gave us Counsels for this age, so we can again embrace God's Laws.
