Don't know about me, but my snow blower gets plenty exercise and is quite healthy!Clearing snow of a 200' driveway alone will keep you healthy.

If I said a prayer about anything it would be for old mother nature to kindly send her blooming snow to France, or 'merica, or anywhere, but not here!Thank Allah for that and pray that it be healthy when the snows come, Alhamdulillah.
Anyway, we haven't got snow blowers.
On the other hand my wifey has got lovely new tyres, so a bit of snow might even be fun.
Oh, that's what we call all terrain tires here. Not all that noisy really and you can actually balance them! I was thinking she had it fitted with off-road treads or something.

Around here our new tyres are seriously chunky!
We might see such as those in your pic on military vehicles. But I get your point, off road where you live is totally off road....

Slightly changing the subject, but I can't wait for the first "killing frost" (take out the environmental allergens!)

Yeah.... OK....... Brrrrrrr! *shivers*
Ah! That's a problem! What happens around here is that 'snow' biffs and bangs happen almost immediately and then the road grid-locks to a standstill. And so it doesn't really help to have a Rambo All Terrain Monster Truck because it will be sitting in a long queue with other cars.
But we live on a ramshackle hillside estate, and in snow very few cars can actually drive up the hilly road which leads to the main roads. So my Missus is content to at least get to the village shop, etc. But we don't bother to go anywhere in snow now..... gridlocked roads.

We drove to our wedding in a Vitara, same model as that but with slightly smaller wheels.
Nah, that's an ad photo from a site, that sells lift kits for the Suzuki Vitar, Sidekick and other small 4X4's. Almost bought a Vitara once. The wife wanted it for snow season, but once she realized the traction lock feature of her Mazda2 would keep her from getting stuck in most cases, she went off the idea.Wow! Is that yours?

Getting back on topic, I just finished clearing our driveway of leaves. Sweating bullets here. It's currently 77F - 25C on this fine Fall afternoon. Still waiting for that freeze!

OK. My wife had a Vitara for several years. She loved it but I encouraged her to change it for a Jimny in 2010. She changed that for an automatic one in 2014 when her left knee stopped working properly.
Ha, 81F - 27.2C today! Our trees are loosing their leaves and budding all at the same time. Bloody grass, normally dormant this time of year, has started growing again!Getting back on topic, I just finished clearing our driveway of leaves. Sweating bullets here. It's currently 77F - 25C on this fine Fall afternoon. Still waiting for that freeze!

Cool and raining here. And the damn bus is late! But nothing like a normal November.Ha, 81F - 27.2C today! Our trees are loosing their leaves and budding all at the same time. Bloody grass, normally dormant this time of year, has started growing again!

Yep, had climate change in 1938 as well, when the high here was 77F on the same date...
I remember one February about 15 years ago. I got all bundled up to rake leaves and immediately started sweating bullets! Unbeknownst to me, it was in the 70's that day! One year we got back to back 20 inch + snow storms in Feb!
Anyway, back to 60F today. Feels downright blustery. Supposed to be 70F tomorrow though!

I remember the winter of 62, spent in a freezing boarding school with no central heating.
And I remember the drought and heat of 76 when I saw 'dust-devils' whirling across the fields for the first time.
You can be sure that when the sea level begins to rise that we will be reminded that it rose up to separate the UK from Europe, circa 15 thousands of years ago, and fell back slightly one thousand years ago. Up and down..... But that won't help our Seaside Cities. My wife is younger than me and she could easily live to experience our home being an island on each high tide. How I would like to see that! ........... but.............
