What do your real life friends believe?

Believers have their moments of doubt, and no-one calls them atheists for that.

It would be nice if that generous attitude were extended to atheists having a moment of belief.
I don't know if the original sentiment was ungenerous (I'm not sure when or where the phrase originated)
Sometimes people use the phrase spitefully. People can say almost anything spitefully.

I don't know if I have moments of belief, but moments of egocentric wishfulness that some supernatural power will intervene on my current situation for my benefit and quite possibly the detriment of others.

Most of my family is Christian. I am Protestant (raised Anglican/Baptist) but I have Catholic family members too.

Other religions of people in my immediate circle are Buddhist, Muslim, and Hindu.

A friend brought over his nephew, a young Greek kid who lives on an island where he can see the coast of turkey. In less than an hour of meeting him he called.the folks on the other side of the water.dogs, derided Egyptians, Albanians, Africans and Muslims.

So I took him over to a house that had Blacks, Muslims, Asians...might have opened his eyes some learning people.are people...
